Nick Denave

Please join me in congratulating Nick DeNave, Class of 2020 Southern Lehigh High School, for being the sixthStars & Stripes Lacrosse Alumni to officially commit to play in college and the secondto commit to play NCAA Division I Lacrosse. Nick will be playing for the University of Hartford Hawks in the America East Conference in West Hartford, Connecticut and pursuing a degree in Engineering. Nick was a founding player of the Stars & Stripes Lacrosse program and immediately became our bedrock foundation on defense with his precision stick checks, coast-to-coast speed, and his physical presence on the crease. Nick’s lacrosse IQ and team EQ are off the charts. Nick instilled confidence in both the players and the coaching staff every time he stepped on the field. Nick taught me as much about the game and position that we both love, as I was able to share with him. We know Jim, Gina, Tori and Brianna are very proud of the man Nick has become and we look forward to following his collegiate career with them. “Punch the Clock” and “Go to Work”, Nick! We know you will set the bar high and go after it.
