Cole picked up a lacrosse stick in second grade and never put it down. A multi-sport kid growing up in the Parkland School District, football, snowboarding, always outside, lacrosse was the constant. He came up through SPA Lacrosse, Parkland's youth program, and joined Stars and Stripes in sixth grade. He's been part of the organization ever since, playing through the Class of 2021 team and remaining part of the Stars and Stripes alumni team today.

At Parkland High School, Cole played LSM and close defense while playing club ball for both Stars and Stripes and Rising Sons Lacrosse. He committed to Widener University as a junior and graduated from Parkland in 2021.

At Widener, Cole did whatever the team needed: SSDM as a freshman when injuries hit the roster, growing into the LSM role by his junior year. When his own injuries ended his playing days during his senior and graduate years, he stayed on in a leadership and advising role, and lacrosse never left his day to day.

People ask why Widener. The answer is simple: at the time, only two schools on the East Coast offered a robotics engineering degree, and Widener's coaching staff fully supported him pursuing the hard one. He earned his B.S. in Robotics Engineering, completed his M.S. in a single extra year, led the Sky-Walker project (a 10-foot autonomous hexacopter) as a senior, published solo graduate research on intelligent battery management for mobile platforms, and launched an app on the Apple App Store with colleagues along the way.

Cole now takes his technical background into the world of finance and investing, and brings everything the game gave him back to the Stars and Stripes sideline as a coach.

Colin Johnson officially joins the Stars & Stripes full coaching staff, bringing a lifetime of passion for the game and a deep, personal connection to the club as an active alumnus. After previously volunteering as an assistant coach for the 2030 graduating class over the past two years, Colin now steps into a full-time coaching role. He embodies the very essence of the Stars & Stripes pathway—having grown up through the program, played for its alumni squad, and returned to mentor the next generation of athletes.

Colin’s lacrosse journey began in 1st grade at just five years old. By 4th grade, he was playing year-round across rec and club programs, joining the Stars & Stripes family shortly after to refine his craft using just a ball and a stick. Colin went on to star at Saucon Valley High School, graduating in 2021 before extending his playing career to the collegiate level, where he competed for four years at Elizabethtown College. Today, he continues to suit up on the field as an active player for the Stars & Stripes alumni team, the Roughnecks.

Coach Johnson first discovered his passion for coaching in high school, and when the opportunity arose to step up into a full staff position with Stars & Stripes, it was a complete no-brainer. Off the field, Colin holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus in Entrepreneurship from Elizabethtown and works as an Account Specialist at Clear Channel Airports. He brings a high-energy, relatable coaching approach to the field, instilling the blue-collar work ethic and grit needed for players to punch in every single day and confidently storm the hill.

Coach Odenthal aligns perfectly with the Stars & Stripes mission—instilling discipline, respect, and elite-level lacrosse IQ into players using just a ball and a stick.

A native of Long Island, William grew up playing his high school lacrosse at Cold Spring Harbor High School, where he dominated the field as a stand-out multi-positional threat, earning All-Conference honors at attack and All-County recognition at midfield. He took his talents to the ultimate stage in collegiate lacrosse, playing four years for the powerhouse Johns Hopkins University Blue Jays. In 1984, William served as the sole captain of the legendary, undefeated (14-0) Johns Hopkins National Championship team. During that historic title run, he led the team in scoring with 27 goals, capped off his collegiate career as a Third Team All-American at attack, and represented the program in the prestigious North/South All-Star Game.

Beyond his historic playing career, Coach Odenthal brings extensive coaching experience to the club circuit and local varsity programs. From 2012 to 2019, he coached with the Headstrong Lacrosse Club, developing elite youth and high school players. Most recently, he made a major impact in the Lehigh Valley, serving as the Offensive Coordinator for the Allentown Central Catholic High School Varsity team from 2019 to 2022. He masterminded the offense that propelled the Vikings to a PIAA State Championship victory in 2021. He then stepped up as the Head Lacrosse Coach at Allentown Central Catholic from 2022 to 2025, leading the program to three consecutive Division Championships.

Coach Odenthal utilizes a fundamental, high-standard coaching approach that demands a blue-collar work ethic. He is passionate about mentoring the next generation of youth athletes, passing down the tactical nuances of championship-level execution and showing players what it means to "punch in" and "go to work" every single day.

He was a league MVP and US all American his senior year. Jack went on to continue his career at the Division I level for Saint Joseph’s University where he was a 4-year contributor and eventual team captain, being ranked in the NCAA top 20 every year.

Jack began his lacrosse career with Coach Spyro when he was in 1st grade, in the LMYA youth circuit. He was then on the first ever Stars and Stripes Team and has the prestigious title of “founding member”. He played with Stars and Stripes ever since; where he gained lifelong lessons on and off the field, memories, and friends who he still sees to this day. Stars and Stripes instilled hard work and dedication into him at a young age and he hopes to inspire the same in all of the players he coaches.

He received his bachelors degree in Risk Management and Insurance from Saint Joseph’s University where he also completed his MBA. He will be continuing his professional career at Remitly, joining the Enterprise Risk Management Team as an Associate Program Manager.

His leadership and production helped propel the Vikings to an Eastern Pennsylvania Conference (EPC) Championship in 2022, alongside three District XI Championships in 2022, 2024, and 2025, while personally earning All-Conference honors twice. On the club circuit, he competed at the highest tier nationally, playing for Duke's Nationals, NXT, and TRUE Lacrosse.
