Liam Drake

Please join me in congratulating Liam Drake, Allentown Central Catholic High School, for being the 10th Stars & Stripes Alumni in the Class of 2022 to officially commit to play collegiate lacrosse. Liam will continue his career playing NCAA Division III Lacrosse for the Widener University Pride in the Middle Atlantic Conference in Chester, Pennsylvania. Liam is the 37th Stars & Stripes Lacrosse Alumni to commit to play collegiate lacrosse. Liam will be joining Stars & Stripes Alum from the Class of 2021, Cole Helmer, to create double Lehigh Valley trouble for their opponents. Liam was a founding member of the Stars & Stripes Lacrosse program and he was a stand-out midfielder for the team. But more than that, he was the heart and soul of that team. I can still hear him screaming “Yeah, White” to get us up for a game. And when we needed someone to step-up for a 1:1 “BraveHeart” against a fierce competitor, it was Liam who self-nominated for the role to bring home the victory! And Liam was on our famous 12-player squad that brought home the championship in Maryland against teams with double the roster size. Adam, Bridget, and Gavin should be very proud of Liam’s accomplishments on and off the field. “Storm the Hill”, Liam - the world awaits!
