Julia Cote

Please join me in congratulating Julia Cote, Emmaus High School, for being the second Stars & Stripes Alumni to officially commit to play collegiate women’s lacrosse. Julia will continue her career playing NCAA Division II Lacrossefor the Bloomsburg University Huskies in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) in Bloomsburg, PA. Julia is the 28th Stars & Stripes Lacrosse Alumni to commit to play collegiate lacrosse. Julia joined the Stars & Stripes Lacrosse club the inaugural year of our girls lacrosse offering. Her brother, Justin, was already a key contributor on the 2020 boys Stars & Stripes team so Julia was very familiar with the culture and expectations of the program. Julia played hard and aggressive lacrosse with a smile on her face the entire time. Her passion for the game enabled her to compete at a high level and her strong stick skills differentiated her from the pack. She brought tremendous enthusiasm and passion each time she stepped on the field. Julia demonstrated tremendous lacrosse IQ as she helped lead a team of fierce competitors against very strong Main Line girls lacrosse competition. This girls team played with a lot of heart and it was such a pleasure to coach alongside Coach Hollinger. Brian, Lisa, and Justin should be very proud of her academic and athletic accomplishments and we look forward to following her collegiate career with them. “Punch the Clock and Go to Work”, Julia! The world awaits!
