Jake Hurd

Please join me in congratulating Jake Hurd, Parkland High School, for being the 8th Stars & Stripes Alumni in the Class of 2022 to officially commit to play collegiate lacrosse. Jake will continue his career playing NCAA Division III Lacrosse for the DeSales University Bulldogs in the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) in Center Valley, PA . Jake is the 33rd Stars & Stripes Lacrosse Alumni to commit to play collegiate lacrosse. Jake will join fellow Stars & Stripes teammate, Taylor Wikert, to create double the Lehigh Valley impact on Bulldog opponents. It is fitting that Jake will be becoming a Bulldog because he was always one of our most aggressive attackman whether he was dodging to the cage or riding to create a turnover. Jake had great field awareness and vision, which he derived from his foundations of being a tremendous youth basketball player. Tim, Lynn, Morgan and Hannah – and Anne – should be very proud of his academic and athletic accomplishments and we look forward to following his collegiate career with them. “Punch the Clock and Go to Work”, Jake! The world awaits!
