Cole Helmer

 Please join me in congratulating Cole Helmer, Class of 2021 Parkland High School, for being the ninth Stars & Stripes Lacrosse Alumni to officially commit to play collegiate lacrosse. Cole will be playing for the Widener University Pride in the NCAA Division III Middle Atlantic Conference in Chester, Pennsylvania. Cole joined the Stars & Stripes Lacrosse program for middle school and immediately became a force on the defensive side of the field. His speed, stick checks, and no-nonsense physicality enables him to create turnovers and matriculate the ball up the field to create offense. Cole always exhibits tremendous sportsmanship and he is team-first in all of his actions. When needed, Cole transitions to midfield and leverages his strong footwork and game IQ to make an impact on both sides of the field. We were very lucky to attract Cole to play with us and we never take that for granted. Cole will be studying robotic engineering at school which is extremely impressive given the demands on a student athlete. Tim, Jacqui, and Cassie should be very proud of Cole’s accomplishments on and off the field. “Punch the Clock” and “Go to Work”, Cole - the world awaits!
