Chuck Kuczynski

Please join me in congratulating Chuck Kuczynski, Allentown Central Catholic High School, for being the first Stars & Stripes Alumni in the Class of 2022 to officially commit to play collegiate lacrosse. I take tremendous pride in announcing that Chuck will continue his career playing NCAA Division I Lacrosse for the Syracuse University Orangemen in the Atlantic Coast Conference in Syracuse, NY. Chuck is the seventeenth Stars & Stripes Lacrosse Alumni to commit to play lacrosse in the NCAA and the eighth player to be selected by a Division I program. Chuck was a founding player of the Stars & Stripes Lacrosse program and immediately became a force to be reckoned with on the defensive side of the field with his gritty play and desire to win. When the game is on the line, Chuck always covers the man with the ball, as such he instills confidence in the team every time he is on the field. As a 7 year-old in a U9 championship game we asked him to stand on the midfield line and never let the ball crossover into our zone and he responded with “got it”. And as a middle-schooler the team nominated him for a Braveheart in the championship game and he said “got it”. And as a high schooler we asked him to be our face-off guy at nationals in Lake Placid, and he said “got it”. Every time he said “got it” he followed through with his commitment. Chuck’s combination of athleticism, strength, sheer will, and determination is unmatched. Chuck, Karen, and Cassia should be very proud of the man Chuck has become and we look forward to following his collegiate career with them. Go “punch the clock”, Chuck! The world awaits!
