Ben Scandone

Please join me in congratulating Ben Scandone, Allentown Central Catholic High School, for being the 8th Stars & Stripes Alumni in the Class of 2022 to officially commit to play collegiate lacrosse. Ben will continue his career playing NCAA Division I Lacrosse for the Drexel University Dragons in the Colonial Athletic Association in Center City, Philadelphia, PA . Ben is the 33rd Stars & Stripes Lacrosse Alumni to commit to play lacrosse in the NCAA and the 14th player to be selected by a Division I program. Ben joined Stars & Stripes Lacrosse in middle school and made an impact the moment he stepped on the field with the team. Ben’s speed is a game changer. It is a skill that just can’t be taught to others. When you combine that with his field awareness, stick skills, and vision – you turn that into the dodge, draw, dump triple threat for opponents. Ben’s likeability factor on the team is “through the roof” which enables everyone to put a lot of trust in him on and off the field! Greg, Danielle, and Matthew should be very proud of his academic and athletic accomplishments and we look forward to following his collegiate career with them. “Punch the Clock and Go to Work”, Ben! The world awaits!
