Ben FRANCO

Please join me in congratulating Ben Franco, Emmaus High School, for being the 13th Stars & Stripes Alumni in the Class of 2021 to officially commit to play collegiate lacrosse. Ben will continue his career playing NCAA Division I Lacrosse for the University of Hartford Hawks in the America East Conference in West Hartford, Connecticut. He will be teaming up with fellow Alum, Nick DeNave (Class of 2020), to create double Lehigh Valley trouble for their America East opponents. Ben is the 26th Stars & Stripes Lacrosse Alumni to commit to play lacrosse in the NCAA and the 13th player to be selected by a Division I program. Ben was a founding member of the Stars & Stripes Lacrosse program and he has forever been our rock, our foundation, our brick wall standing in front of the cage. Ben is a standout goalie and the first player you want to walk off the bus given his size and stature. He towers over the top cross-bar and always stands tall between the pipes with quick hands and great reflexes. And he has a knack for anticipating shot selections. But most of all he is kind-hearted and funny, he keeps everyone cool when the pressure is on, and he is a great friend to boys on the team. If you were making a movie about a youth lacrosse team, Ben, with his charm and charisma,  would be cast as the goalie for sure. Fid, Susan, and Elyse should be very proud of Ben’s accomplishments on and off the field. “Punch the Clock” and “Go to Work”, Ben - the world awaits!
